Argentina, April 22nd to May 20th — Hangzhou Joins Import & Export Co., Ltd (JOINS) reunited with our strategic partner Comprando en Grupo (CEG) to dive into the local market, have conversations with CEG and local SMEs, and explore more business opportunities.    

JOINS, the commerce platform delivering the personalized business solution to help SMEs start, run, make profits and accompany them grow, has explored 4000+ SKUS covering over 15 product categories, served more than 9800+SMEs, spreading over South America, Europe, Asia and other regions.

CEG, the largest retail community in Latin America(Latam), has attracted more than 7,500 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to join. It helped SMEs in Latam to get closer to factories of the world, access more competitive prices and further grow their businesses.

In the past ten years, JOINS has a close cooperation with CEG. And this exciting reunion provides a precious opportunity for JOINS to listen to the hearts of local SMEs and go with the trend of local market of South America. Well-conducted market research, as the first link of MSP (full-link system of JOINS), lays a solid foundation for the whole workflow of JOINS. No matter the official meetings with leaders of CEG, or small talks with store owners, all enlighten JOINS about the future paths to better development.

During this stay, we met and had conversations with merchants from various sectors such as sanitaryware, hardware stores, multi-product companies, decoration businesses, etc. In Buenos Aires, we visited towns such as San Martín, Campana, Pilar and Capital Federal. In Córdoba, we met with associated businesses in Villa General Belgrano, Córdoba Capital and General Deheza. We also had the opportunity to tour Polo 52, an extensive industrial center in the City of Córdoba.

The JOINS team, led by CEO Steven Zhou, visited CEG and had a detailed discussion with CEO of CEG Daniel Salomón and his team. During the discussion, we tackled the issue of product selection to ensure they align with customers' preferences and needs. Both sides agreed that it is crucial to stay attuned to market trends, conduct thorough market research, and actively seek customer feedback to fine-tune our product selection. In this way, we can deliver an even better service to our customers and empower them to succeed in their online shopping journey. Together, we will continue to thrive on the path to e-commerce success.

Besides, engaging in conversations with local SMEs in Argentina has been invaluable in gaining deeper insights into the local market demands and understanding the priority of product demands. We have also learned about different business models from various local partners such as the retail store with a rich history spanning over 60 years and the commercial company selling online through platforms like Mercado Libre or directly. Notably, our product lines, including bazaar and home essentials, lighting and electricity, and taps and toilets, have received significant acclaim and recognition.
